Closing the gap between birth and real recovery

Closing the gap between birth and real recovery

For every mother who has heard too often: “That is just how it is.”
For every mother whose symptoms were not taken seriously.

somemoms is the place I wish had existed back then.

I am Natascha, soon a mother of two, and I was affected by diastasis recti and an umbilical hernia myself. After my traumatic, 60 hour birth I tested countless programmes and spent a lot of money. Almost a year passed before I knew what really helped me.

Official aftercare ends after eight weeks. Recovery often takes years. It is exactly in between that we no longer leave any mother on her own.

On my healing journey I learned what really works for diastasis recti, trauma, gut problems, pelvic complaints and nutrient deficiencies. And I built a network of people I trust.

somemoms is the place I wish had existed back then.

This is what somemoms stands for

Holistic & lasting

Holistic & lasting

You do not close a diastasis recti in 8 weeks, and trauma is not healed in an hour. We rely on solutions that work over the long term.

Informative & strengthening

Informative & strengthening

Every mother deserves to feel at ease again and free of pain in her own body. We give mothers the knowledge that is so often missing. So that they no longer have to ask, but can decide for themselves.

Curated & vetted

Curated & vetted

In our selection we place great value on vetted, sustainable programmes and experts as well as products. We only work with people we have come to trust deeply through experience.

We take recovery as seriously as birth itself.

We take recovery as seriously as birth itself.
